Re-visiting Breton’s collection

It was great to be able to visit the Centre Pompidou again and see the freshly installed collection, especially Breton’s personal collection – housed with more space allowing more of the collection to be seen leaving space for the viewer to place themselves within the poets world. unfortunately the large plate glass stops you from physically achieving that. Standing in front of the glass I mused over the comments Delarue uttered to friends on his many visits to Breton’s apartment and imagined which item sparked his own collection.
